Today, I’m bringing you this bonus episode asking the question of whether your business should be faith-based or not. I’ve heard many women ask this question. As I was studying about the Easter story, the reaction of the disciples during the persecution of Jesus really spoke to me about this particular topic, and I felt like I needed to share it with you today. I hope this speaks to you and gives you clarity for your own business and if you’re being called to have a faith-based business or not. Fully stepping into that and saying “yes!” to what God is asking you to do is going to really give you peace in your business.

Be productive instead of just busy with this simple method of being a good steward of your time

Busy but not actually getting anything done in your business? In this episode, I’m going to talk about how to be a good steward of your time as an entrepreneur on a God-led mission. You’ve heard of being a good steward of money, but what about time? 
As moms, we don’t have a ton of time to spend working on our businesses so the time we do have must be used wisely. 
You know this business isn’t just a random idea, but a calling God has placed on your heart. Therefore, it’s important to diligently and efficiently work on your business.
But it feels like you’re working a lot yet your business isn’t growing and things are moving forward. 
God doesn’t give us more than we can handle. 
So how do you fix this and make sure you’re being a good time steward?

2020 Reflection and Looking Forward to What God is Doing in Your Business in 2021

As we wrap up 2020, there’s a tendency to think that 2021 is going to be magically better than 2020 or if we follow what the world is saying, then we’ll think that nothing good came of 2020. But we know that God can do good and amazing things no matter what the circumstances look like. As we come to the end of the year, it’s a habit to look forward to the next year and start planning and dreaming all of the things that we can do. While this is good and fun, I want to encourage you to really get your mind in the right place before you start all the planning for next year. Make sure you’re co-creating these goals with God and see where He really wants you to go. It might not be where you’ve got in mind.

Recognizing when God is calling you and how to say YES

In this episode, we’re going to talk about why you might not be fully stepping into the calling God has for you.

Stepping boldly where God is calling you (even if it's a whole new life and others doubt you)

Sometimes God will ask you to switch gears in life to be someone you've never been before. Always a career woman and now being called to be home with the kids. Always a work-a-holic and now striving for balance. Well meaning people around you might doubt the change. You have the choice to either get up and walk to let your old ways define who you are even though God is calling you to change your life by doing something you've never been able to do before. If He's calling you, then He will empower you.

Welcome to  the Mama with a calling podcast where we’re going to dive into what it looks like to have God call you to completely pivot in life from career woman to online entrepreneur.
Facing and overcoming fears comes with asking some hard questions around what it really means to become an entrepreneur and what it looks like to step out in faith and trust where God is leading you. 
This is why I wanted to do this show - to help you take a deep dive into these questions, the fears that come up, why you think the things you do and how to overcome those fears with truths from the bible mixed with practical tips based on how the brain works.  
On this podcast, we’ll talk about all things around entrepreneurship and what it looks like as a Christian pursuing this calling, mom life, productivity, and truly how to just keep going even when things get tough or boring or whatever comes up for you. The biblical insights that I use to keep myself going are things I’ll be sharing with you as well. One Simple Thing You Can Do To Recharge and Reconnect with God When Things Feel Crazy

Life can already feel chaotic as a mom with all the to-dos, and then throw in being an entrepreneur, and it can be exhausting. Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, and burnt out are real issues that so many mom entrepreneurs face. Especially if you’re a determined and motivated person, you can be prone to working yourself so hard that you forget to do something that helps you recharge for all the things you’re doing. I know this has happened to me so many times, and in today’s episode, I’m sharing my simple method for reducing stress and overwhelm, recharging and reconnecting with God.
