This revival that’s happening in the United States that started at Ashbury University shows us what revival looks like. I believe a revival is happening in the online business space for moms.
God is calling women back to Him. To see Him in all that they do, to follow Him, to have a yearning to know Him and be used by Him. I know you all can feel it. Let’s be real for a minute: You don’t have to have a business and you don’t have to do it this way.
But you are. And there’s a reason.
You’re listening to this podcast because there’s something in you that’s saying “I want to do this the right way. I want to go where God is leading but I don’t know how or I want to keep my focus on Him because it’s so easy to go astray.”
When God moves, big things happen.
The impact of moms being revived spiritually and on fire for Jesus is HUGE.
As you seek God and grow this business for Him, as an act of worship, then you will see lives changed in His name.
You will build wealth- not because you were seeking it but because you were willing to receive it as God gives it and do His work with it.
But we must remember, revival happens when God moves and the Spirit is working.
But we also have to have willing hearts.
That’s what we’re going to talk about in this episode: How can we prepare our hearts to sense when God is moving and fully surrender to that when it happens?

Pivoting and changing direction with your business can bring with it a lot of shame. Why can’t you just get it together? When your husband gets frustrated that you’re changing business directions (again), it can be hard. But at the same time, you’re trying to figure this out. You care about your business and following where God is leading so what’s the deal?
In this episode, we’re going to be talking about why changing directions isn’t necessarily a bad thing (though it can be) and how to tell if it is.
I’m going to first change the narrative around what it means about you if you keep changing business directions (this is powerful).
And then I’m going to give you 3 questions you can ask yourself to make sure your heart is in the right place when you are making the decision to change directions in your life or business.
These questions will help you go from feeling shame around the whole thing to knowing exactly what’s going on in your head so you can take the action you want to take and move forward in confidence.

Making a big business decision is the number one thing clients come to me with. It can be anything from deciding which business they should start to deciding which course or product they should create next. Sometimes you can pray and think on the decision, and then you’ll know what you should do. But sometimes, you are faced with a decision that you just can’t seem to figure out what you should do. Often, this kind of decision is one that you’ve been thinking on for months or even years. You’re stuck until you can make this decision. So what do you do?
Like you heard from the live coaching session I shared on episode 77, making a decision isn’t just the tactical, logical aspect. There is a mindset and spiritual component that’s really important too.

Do you think you’ve got to have it all together for God to use you in your business? Think again. Today we’re going to talk about why you don’t have to fix yourself before God can work through you.
Now, this is a bit of a gray area because we do need to improve and seek to be more like Christ in all that we do. Part of that is the mindset work I talk about here on the podcast where we learn to recognize negative thoughts keeping us from fully walking in obedience to do what God has called us to do.
BUT this doesn’t mean something is wrong with you or that God can’t or won’t use you unless you fix yourself.
So I want to talk about what Scripture actually says about this and how it can give you so much freedom in this area if you’re struggling with these thoughts.

We might not say it out loud but many of us think that if God has called to do something, then the signs of that “door being opened” are that it’s easy and effortless almost.

If you’re resistant to having business goals or knowing your “numbers” because it’s too stuffy or “not you”, I totally get it, but is it really how we should view our business as Christians?

With all of the reflections looking at 2022 and then looking ahead into 2023 and planning, there are a lot of different ways to go about this. Some people are super casual about it, like writing down the top 5 wins and then others are super methodical and detailed like calculating all of the profit and loss and running all of their “numbers” for their business.
At first, this made me cringe because I have no interest in being “that” kind of business. But then, God gave me a different perspective shift that I want to share with you today.
